Kiffer went on his first "real" hike on Monday. (meaning he actually walked part of it himself) We're so proud! He hiked about 1 mile of the 3 miles on his own...uphill for a good portion of that. At the top he kept saying, "sit down?". We thought it was funny until we realized just how far he'd actually walked...and that he really was tired! The animal crackers helped...and he got to ride the whole way down.

Wow! I can't believe how big he is! Not to mention how cute :) I giggled at the animal cracker incentive you employed...smart thinking! (And I bet he slept well that night!)
