This is how one packs a van with an entire apartment's worth of stuff while entertaining a baby...also note that Elwin is wearing a white shirt and tie! (He spoke at a conference in SLC that day...and probably thought he would get out of the entire packing ordeal, poor man! Thanks!)

6 Months Old
...today! And last Friday I was 15 pounds even, 26 inches long, and very wiggly. Well, I'm still wiggly, but my Mom and Dad are convinced I've gained weight since then. Probably true...I eat like crazy...love that rice cereal and applesauce. Today I tried to drink from a sippy-cup...mostly because I'm always grabbing my Mom's cup and she's had enough. Guess I'm just a little anxious to be a big boy. Tomorrow we're going camping for the first time! I'm still a bit afraid of the dark, buy Dad will let me sleep next to him. Have a great Memorial Day weekend! I wonder if I'll get a cupcake for my half-birthday...

More Photos from the Last Week or So
These are mostly the cute photos from the second encounter...we think it was a little less scary this time around. :) Oh! He's also started sucking on his toes...guess he started this Thursday night while Katelyn was babysitting Christopher. Hilarious! (Except when he starts to do it right after "squirting" himself on the changing table...)
Close Encounter with the Grass
Last weekend we took Christopher up to campus (part of our evening walk) to see what he thought of the grassy lawns. Then, on Sunday, we took him to Vivian Park (Provo Canyon) for a picnic...apparently all bottle-shaped items (read: any size bottle) looks like his bottles...thus, he thinks they are for him. :) You'll be happy to hear the bottle was indeed empty before we let him play with it. No pink lemonade for babies! I wish the photos did justice to the faces he made while feeling the grass...they were hilarious! So curious...and repulsed/confused at the same time.

NSD
Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!! Hope you got some "work" done today. :) Or maybe you played all day and managed to get some Mexican food for dinner? We had fajitas and left over birthday cake. (Failed to post about Steve's birthday yesterday...Happy Birthday to you!) Christopher had some rice cereal...to keep him from putting his fingers in our food...he actually swallowed it this time and wanted more! Not as messy as I though it would be. Got a couple layouts done today...and took a little trip to Archiver's with Katelyn (and Steve and Christopher) to get some "bling".
Will post more later about NSD and Women's Conference. Have a fabulous Sunday!
