We're moving in a month...so we'll get to plant another garden...that makes me happy.

Today we had two pieces of good news and one not-so good.
Good news first! (1)We will be moving next month (still waiting on the date) and got the apartment we wanted. (2)Steve has figured out how to get into the lab he wants!
"Bad" news: I didn't get the job.

I thought I'd be more upset about that last one. Not yet. Maybe tomorrow. Definitely tomorrow.

Good thing I'm watching another little boy all day...he and Christopher will certainly keep me busy. Plus, this means Katelyn can come visit this summer as I have no travel dates to get in the way! Yay for Aunt Katelyn!!!

Oh! On another good note: this Friday my final assignment for Montessori certification is due...and then I'm done. :) Unless I decide to do it all again for different grade levels.

Random thoughts: Every pregnant woman in our ward is having a boy. The trees are blooming. I really like it when Steve takes Christopher to the library so I can have some quiet...he's been screaming a lot. Our dishwasher comes on Saturday. I need to get some apple boxes and start packing. And while I'm at it I think I'll start throwing things away/recycling/donating...maybe I'll start tonight!

Spring Photos

Just a few shots of warm weather action and fashion. :) Grandma(s) and Grandpa(s): Please do not be alarmed! Christopher only fell down the two steps on the back patio...not a huge deal and very little crying. :) Just a hazard of being an excited little boy!

Christopher loves accessories at the moment...hats, shoes, sunglasses, etc. Even hats that are now too small. Oh, and the cowboy boots are still a favorite even though they're too big.

Steve wants me to mention that the screen door was indeed open when the Christopher talked with the squirrel.

Last Weekend

Last weekend we spent some time with family in Ohio. Naturally all our photos are of Christopher...but he's cute, right? He loved the bunny cake and cried when we took it away (Babies don't need that much sugar, no matter how much they want it!). Somehow Michael escaped the photo sessions...

Our Weekend

We "ran" a Family 5K (we did the 2K), bought a dishwasher (YAY!!!), took lots of walks, played with friends, watched General Conference, had a little barbecue with friends, and got a few things cleaned up. I think Christopher enjoyed holding the finish line at the 5K more than anything. (first photo) Still hoping to get an offer on a new apartment sometime this week.

These boys had a LOT of fun today outside. The sun was shining (still only 54 degrees...but nice!) and all the kids were out after school. The moms chat while the kids play and we all wait anxiously for the dads to get off the big blue bus. ;)

*Apparently driving this little truck takes a lot of concentration...or maybe that's the face of road rage?

Lab

I sent the little camera with Steve today...so we'll all get a peek into the lab of our Mad Scientist. :) ETA: this photo is staged...he forgot to take a photo until the end of the day.
