Industrious

I was feeling terribly motivated to sew last night and made 2 pairs of pajama bottoms: one with whales and one with fire trucks. He's worn them both; the whales to bed and the fire trucks all day today. Makes me feel special!

Not sure what's going on with me...must be the sunshine and fresh air...I'm feeling domestic and awfully project-oriented. Looks like I might actually get most of those forgotten projects finished before moving. That would be simply wonderful...one less box of "stuff".

Grumpy

We're all a little grumpy today. Thought you should know. So tired of being tired and cranky and anxious and waiting on everyone/thing else. Argh.

On a happier note: The sun is shining and Kiffer doesn't have a fever today. Yay!

Lucky Day

Being 1/16th Irish makes this cutie quite the little leprachaun. So proud of his new shirt! (specially made for him by Mommy last night)

Pay it Forward (creative sunshine)

A friend of ours posted this on her blog and I have gladly decided to play along. How about spreading some creative sunshine?

Edited from Stacey's blog:

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
I make no guarantees that you will like what I make for you!
What I create will be just for you.
It'll be done before we move. (end of June)
The catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to post this same information on their blog and leave a comment telling me they did will win a lovely homemade gift by me! Have fun with this!

Heading East

Yup. We're headed to Ohio this summer. And we couldn't be more excited! (Although we love Oregon...) Still can't believe we've pulled this off! In 6 months we've moved across the country (with only 2 weeks notice), Steve has completed nearly 2 terms at SOU, he completed all his shadowing at various pharmacies, he applied to several pharmacy school, he interviewed at 3 (but had 6 offers), and he's been accepted at Ohio State. Phew! Somehow we made it.

Darbage 'Ucks

He loves the "bee-beep" of the garbage trucks. This morning Superman woke him up just in time to watch them come through the neighborhood. Pure joy on that little face! There are a lot of little hand prints on the window this morning...apparently one must press both hands on the glass in order to get as close to the trucks as possible. (Because it's just too wet and cold to head outside for too long while in pajamas.)
