VACATION!!!

We leave today for Ohio. And tomorrow we're off to D.C. Without the babe. :) It's snowing like crazy...but the roads are cleared. Christopher has become quite the ham...so I'm sure he'll entertain his uncles and grandparents. Love spring break!

ETA: The weather is getting worse to the south of us...so now we are not sure when we might leave...sniff...I want a vacation so badly!

Bonding

The upside to teething is that Christopher is a bit more clingy than usual. Lately he wants to sit between my feet and "talk". Right now that's my favorite reason to be a mom...good cuddles!

I Love...

...to blow my nose. I like to take a Kleenex from the box, hold it to my nose, and make blowing sounds. It's fun! And I do it a LOT because Mommy and Daddy have been sick and doing it, too.

New Tricks

Things I've learned to do in the last few weeks:

1. walk
2. eat pears with a fork
3. wash myself in the tub (I put my hand under the soap pump and then rub my tummy...even though I haven't figured out how to get the soap to come out.)
4. to be gentle with friends and share toys when they are sad

Happy Valentine's Day!

Cold

It's noon and only 5 degrees. Ugh. Dad, how cold is it in UP? I heard it was about -12....

*ETA: It's now 4pm and 4 degrees. Guess it's not going to reach the high of 12 degrees predicted. On our way home from church we heard the trees squeaking and creaking...very spooky. The wind alone makes you want to curl up in a ball and wait it out. I have no intentions of leaving the house again today!

Snow Days

What do we do when it snows most of the day? DANCE PARTY!!! Today we're dancing the time away while waiting for Daddy to come home from the lab...I've got to figure out how to post a video. Christopher is a fabulous dancer! (Really likes to dance to end credits...Grey's Anatomy especially. Oh, and 80s music.)
