May 2006, Week One

I've been asked a lot lately what my plans are now that I've "graduated". I must admit I have no real plans...at least not anything that can be considered terribly productive (which really means a job or classes, etc). This week I plan to catch up on all that cleaning I failed to do between the morning sickness and finals. (While the morning sickness is gone...it's been fully replaced by evening/night sickness. Ugh.) When I have completed the Spring cleaning of the apartment, I will actually begin to study for that last medical terminology exam. At some point today/tomorrow I need to plan something for Steve's birthday. We're planning to go camping this weekend, but I fully intend to do something more birthday-ish. Sometime in between all that cleaning, studying, and planning, I will sit down to read Pride and Prejudice for the Relief Society book group. Well, it's a nice idea anyway. Oh, and I need to visit the health center to get my lab work done. Sounds pretty productive to me!

Happy Easter!

I am in the process of the making the bread we eat every Easter and was looking forward to the finished product. My joy was rather short-lived this morning...in the middle of the lesson our home teachers brought us, I felt the urgent need to throw up. Again. It's been nearly a week since it happened last. I thought I was over that and had moved on to just feeling gross. Too bad. So, now Steve gets to enjoy the bread and I get to smell it...and our neighbor's bacon...ugh.

Complaints

1. It's snowing...again. Yuck. I'm sick of being cold!
2. It was warm long enough for the pollen count to rise...meaning I can't breathe...and can't take anything for it!
3. Everything I eat between waking and 4pm (and then again after 8pm) just comes back up.
4. I feel puffy.
5. I have two tests in the next 24 hours...guess I'll have to take a bucket to the Testing Center...ugh.
